Creating Batch Entries with VB.Net

I am a veteran developer in C++ and VB.  I need to create a Payable Batch Entry (and all other needed components) somehow.  I have looked at eConnect and Dexterity but, I am not making any progress.  I have a project that uses eConnect and taPMTransactionInsert but, i have no idea how to "submit" it.

I'd be glad to buy a book or whatever necessary to get a grip on how to do this.  Anyone out there able to help?

    Take a look into the below example at the MSDN, it is so easy to be implemented and describes everything:
