How to identify SSRS reports?

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 109

I'm looking for a way to identify all SSRS reports in our CRM. As you know, most used ones are Report Wizard and Existing file (SSRS) reports. I only need to list all SSRS reports but cannot figure out where this data is stored. I checked our main CRM database (ReportBase table) and ReportServer database and couldn't find it. Anyone knows what SQL table this is stored in?

i understand you are using online, thus you can build a console application to achieve it

after you get the body text, check is the body text contain <ConnectionProperties><DataProvider>MSCRMFETCH</DataProvider> ?

if yes, record it ( export into file or csv).

Hi Wei, thanks for the reply. We actually use CRM on-prem, but regardless I can then use:

    <ConnectionProperties><DataProvider>SQL</DataProvider> ?

What if we have an SSRS report that was created using FetchXML?

Hi Wei, yes that's what I figured. But my question still remains....if we have FetchXML reports actually created outside of Report Wizard, will they fall into this criteria?

Hi Goutam, yes I've seen this before. Doesn't answer my question unfortunately.

    Hi,

Is there a way to filter out FetchXML reports created with SSRS as opposed to report wizard in this case?

    Hi,

unfortunately, this is out of my knowledge. At this moment, i dont know how to differentiate the report created using report wizard and SSRS(fetchxml).
