Hi all,

I've got a question about the Office 365 Compliance centre and toolsets they provide to identify certain sensitive information (e.g. Credit card details) and strip them out.

Does the compliance centre have any tools that can audit say emails or notes in Dynamics to detect certain regex and either notify or strip them out or will I need some sort of plugin to do this.

The compliance centre is advisory, rather than technical.

You can hide sensitive data (e.g. credit card details) in columns can be masked from most users in your system using field security profiles.

There are no specific tools in D365 apps to read and strip info in emails/notes - however, you could use AI models in power automate flows or logic apps to build this functionality yourself.
