Can't change/filter view of predefined search-field(record2id) in predefined entity("Connection")

Hi, I'm using MS's predefined entity "Connection" for Connections. In there is a search field, that I would like to edit, it's called "record2id".

Here is an example of what I would like to edit in that particular search field. I'm using a self-created search field for the example:

In my self-created search field I can decide which View it should use when someone clicks on that search field.

I would like the same thing to be possible for the other search field(record2id) in the predefined entity "Connection". But the same setting("Zusätzliche Eigenschaften" = additional features) is nowhere to be seen...

How can I change/filter the view of that search field?

Sry that my screenshots are german, couldn't change the systems language

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

record2id is a special lookup field that can correspond to multiple entities, while a normal lookup field only corresponds to just one entity.

    • For a normal lookup field, we can set its default view, as in your first screenshot.
    • For a lookup field that corresponds to multiple entities, setting default view is not available, as in your second screenshot.

This is my test. I have two lookup fields, one's Target Record Type is Account, and the other is Account and Contact.

Add them to the form, one can set the default view, the other can't.

So I think there is no way to set the view filter of such a field.

Thank you very much for your answer, do you think there is maybe a way to solve this with JavaScript?
