For an end user who is processing an e-mail to a customer and who does not even have a Team Member license in Business Central, can that end user's e-mail somehow be attached to the customer's record in Business Central?

Hi, If you use the permissions of this user, I think it is not available. For example, use Business Central Add-In for Outlook feature.
But if you use the APIs, it should be possible. Because the API uses the permissions of the app added in Azure Active Directory Applications.
