Override Shortages for taSopLot

We are working on integrating EDI into our system and one issue we are having is that shortages in IV00300 are being flagged by the stored procedure taSopLot. I have tried to change our system to allow shortages and have not had success with bypassing the error yet.

Here are the things that I have tried.

1. Item Card

2. Item Class

3. Sales Order Processing - Invoice (as recommended on this blog)

3. Sales Order Processing - Orders (as recommended here)

What option do I need to select to get past the error in taSopLot?

    RE: Override Shortages for taSopLot

I was able to import the EDI when I changed the customer class setup option Order Fulfillment Shipment Default from "None" to "Back order Remaining"

    1. Try to pass the Qty Fulfilled of 0

What do you mean by this? The parameters for taSopLot come from taSopLineIvcInsert, both of which are encrypted stored procedures. Do you mean modifying the XML that I am importing to a have a quantity ordered of zero?

    2. Change the flag in the setup to use separate fulfillment

The separate fulfillment option is grayed out on my system.  Also, I'm not sure that I want that enabled for general sales transaction entries.

Try to pass the Qty Fulfilled of 0 or change the flag in the setup to use separate fulfillment - see if one of these options does the trick for you.
