How can i manage shift wise 8 hour setup in production with respect to calendar hours ??

It depends upon your process, but in this case you need to manually create and split the journals. The first team start the operation, assuming your BOM is operation linked. They report the consumption and route entry. The next shift pick up and report what they have done creating a new journal. Last shift reports all with RAF, unless you want part RAF by shift and report as you go, it depends upon your process time and requirements etc. I dont know what you do at the moment, one journal, backflush etc. Do you use SFDC if it existed in that version to report by job which is another option.

Set the working time to 8 hours on the calendar? I am not really clear on what your question is, can you give us an example. AX3.0 might also be a challenge, is there a working time option from the calendar in that version?
