Customize vendor payment file date format

Hello,

I'm looking into how to control the date format written out to a vendor payment file. We have a custom payment type tied to credit card. The default format appears to be yyyy/mm/dd while I would like to output it as d/m/yyyy. In the container, I can see it's formatted as I would prefer, but once the file is written and downloaded, the date format has been modified.

Hi,

Can you tell if you are using an electronic reporting configuration or something else? What exact container are you referring to?

Can you provide more information about your "custom payment type"? Is this a specific configuration only or is there a customization involved?

Seems like before creating the file to download there is a code which is passing all values into container. So first you need to identify at which place the date value is being assigned or modified. Then you can convert it in any format. If you need any further details please let us know.
