We currently have Dynamics through Office 365. We have our email external at intermedia.net.
I need to have my email config go through my intermedia accounts not through the Microsoft Exchange online option.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe you would have to go to the Email Configuration tab under settings and create a new server profile for your intermedia account then set your users to that profile.

    Hello Ken,

There are 3 types of method to send and receive email.

    1. CRM for outlook client.

    2. Email router.

    3. Server side sync.

Now, based on the previous comments, I am assuming you are trying to Configure server-side synchronization for sending and receiving email.

Follow these steps to configure server-side synchronization:

    1.Create an email server profile :- https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/b4a7e72b-df4f-42d8-a91d-c69cc52ff138#BKMK_CreateProfile

2.Add mailboxes to an email server profile :- https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/b4a7e72b-df4f-42d8-a91d-c69cc52ff138#BKMK_AddMailbox

3.Set the delivery method for incoming and outgoing email :- https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn832108.aspx

4.Test email configuration of mailboxes set up through server-side synchronization :- https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn832132.aspx

    Hope this helps.

I get into the profile creation but I have no fields for incoming server or outgoing server location.  There is also no autodiscover location box.  It is very strange.  I am an admin on the CRM.

    Hello Kamakshi,

We were told recently by a support person that Intermedia Exchange Server integration with Dynamics CRM could only be accomplished via Email Router option. Sincerely appreciate if you can confirm that the step you listed above are in fact sufficient as we prefer to take the Server Side Synch route as well.

    Kind Regards
