Error on picking list journal lines

Hi all

I am a problem when making picking slip journal line, it shows me this error:

"Quantity 153.70 cannot be updated with inventory reference Prod. picking list journal because inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered, Reserved physical or Picked are insufficient"

although there are available quantity in the inventory for the chosen item, as shown in the below screens?

I think it is because of decimals. I am having the same issue, I have 4 places on the BOM but everywhere else its 2 decimal places, that is on the picking list. and for some reason the system tries to continue to try and consume the other two decimal places which is not available. May be your issue is totally different, but this is something i have problem with

I am facing same issue with a couple of production orders, when I start a production order this error appear. I also check inventory is sufficient for all production orders.

I have found a situation when a multi-level BOM is used the middle tier item will fail this way if you cannot post to financial date. Change the date to an open period and it will work in this ssituation

I just found the source of our problem - there was a record for a production pick list in InventTrans for a pick list that did not exist. This was creating false demand requirements for the item. As soon as I removed that record, we were able to create a new production pick list and post it.

I am going to resurrect this thread because we are having the same exact issue. I have searched and found multiple discussions, yet no one has ever posted a solution. There are no reservations for the item - the full quantity is showing as available. Where do we go from there?

Are you using more inventory dimensions like batch number or only the site and warehouse?
