Batch Headers missing info, either or all of SERIES, BACHFREQ, ORIGIN

We are experiencing batch headers not being formed correctly and specifically missing the SERIES, BACHFREQ and/or ORIGIN. We have been setting the fields appropriately to make them visible in the application but it keeps happening and not always it is occasional/random but enough to be a problem. These batches are made thru the API, has anyone else had issues like this, also they are inventory batches specifically that we are working with, thanks.
