Setup default value in parameter field "Quantity" (posting invoice)

Hi everyone,

Is there a possibility to setup that the field "Quantity" in Parameters has the value "All" by default? Right now when I enter this posting invoice window, the field "Quantity" is empty and I have to choose "All" myself.

The normal behavior is for the "Quantity" field value to be stored as the last value entered by the user, which is then used for subsequent runs.

You should only need to select it once, and then F&O will remember it—unless a customization has been made to the field.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Quantity being empty. Normally, it's not possible to have an empty value.

Hi,

By default it selects the last user selected value in the Quantity parameter at the time of Posting the invoice.

You can do the customization in the SalesEditLines Form for set the value to "ALL" at the time of initialization of the Form.

Hi,

I don't think it should be empty by default.

But in general if you want to default a certain value for one of the fields, then you can do customizations in the "initValue" method of the formDatasource where this field exist. But are u sure u want to change that? because as it was mentioned, it already should have the last value you used.

Hey,

As the other contributes said, the last selection is usually remembered. Can you confirm that?

If not, could you try it with the standard view? I see you are using a saved view. Either the saved view saved the entry or it may be messed up when you update on a newer version and not save under a new view.
