Pull Data from Accounts into Leads

Hi,

I would like to pull in data from an Account into a Lead.

When creating a lead and a Company account selected, it will auto fill the Business Phone and Email.

Appreciate your great help.

You mentioned: try to pull data from Contact, you populate 'Existing Contact' field on the lead?

If so, you need get data through 'parent contact for lead' field:

Bingo, it works.

Finally, pull data form Account - annual revenue and description has been done.

But I try to pull data from Contact - business phone and email , I can't found any related field to setup, could you please advise.

Hi HarHar,

It is possible that the fields used as triggers and conditions in the workflow are not selected correctly.

If you fill account in the 'Existing Account' field, you should use 'parent account for lead' field on the workflow:

--Trigger field

--condition:

--Update leads:

--Save and active the workflow.

Hi HarHar,

You can use workflow to get data from selected accounts and populate fields on the lead.

but the workflow works after the record is saved.
