Partner Question for D365 Business Central / Finance and Operations, Business Edition

Hello.

Our license for:  "Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Business Edition IUR for Partners" expires in 13 days. 

We have not received anything about renewing it, and do not know if it will renew without cost as a benefit for being a partner. I have emailed and scoured the internet along with making multiple phone calls and no one seems able to tell me anything. I am going to be out of town for the next month (leaving on the 31st), so I would really like to get this squared away before I leave. Any help you can provide would be great.

    Hello,

    You need to file a ticket as a partner and they will process the request. You will then receive a mail from the team in Ireland.

    Is there also a phone number or email address that we can use to contact Order Management Support?

    Hello,

    This is what will happen:

    When license expires, for 30 days you can continue to login into BC as usual, after that only the Admins will be able to login for another 90 days, then the BC tenant is deleted (if there are no other BC subscriptions found).

    Hope it does answer the questions. It is possible to ask the team for an extension of the expiration date (via a support ticket).

    We will have IUR for partners on BC with the SMB competency – starting this Fall.

    To get more clarification, you can contact Order Management Support team or Microsoft Operations located in Ireland via:

    Via Partnersource, you can also file technical support request, but that is a dead end because support engineers are not qualified to provide details about licenses and orders. This needs to go through the EOC in Ireland.

    Christine, we have the same scenerio, and we've been trying to get clarification. We opened a premier ticket and a Partner support ticket, and premier extended our licenses while they figure it out internally. I would also make sure you back up your dynamics tenant on a regular basis. I know it's not the amswer, but I hope it helps.

    We are Silver ISV partners and have had a (4 seat) license for a year (not 30 days). We went through some training in order to obtain the license. I think we will be gold cloud partners next year. Our D365 (CRM) licensing doesn't expire for a while (20 seats I think) and I believe will be autorenewed as a partner benefit.

    Since everything in the product seems like it is slowly consolidating, we thought maybe the licensing would as well, but there is no notification anywhere if this is true or how to renew Financials/Business Central since our licensing for CRM vs Financials does not expire/renew at the same time.

    Any other thoughts?

    To get a subscription, your first start is to find a Dynamics Solution Provider (Find a partner which is written on that page) or directly via:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/solution-providers/home

    We can extend the 30 days expiration date if the initial 30 days is not sufficient, but for this you do need to contact with Microsoft CSS subsidiary via a support ticket.
