Including Company Logo in AX reports

Dears,

It is requested to add company logo to all AX print out reports. is it enough to upload the logo via Organization administration/Organization /Legal entities, or I have to go to each report design and update it ? If the report design must be updated , the question is how this can be performed?

To add a logo to your reports:

Add the image in .bmp format to the AOT->Resources (right click, create from file)

Go to the report where you want to add the bitmap. find the Header where you want to place it (under GeneratedDesigns) and right click New Control->Bitmap. Set the imageResource property and you are done.

It should be enough for most reports and you would not have to update the individual reports.

As you mentioned above, you can set a company by company logo (legal entity level) via Organization Adminstration -> Setup -> Organization -> 'Legal Entities' -> [Select your legal entity] -> Click 'Company Logo'. This logo is then printed at the top of (almost) every report in the system. There are a few out there that don't have them but most will and will draw that logo into the report automatically depending on what legal entity you are running it for.

To fully answer your question, you should list and run all the reports that are of interest and determine which are missing the logos. From there, you'll need to add them in via the designer. The developers will have access to the other reports to use as a model so it should be fairly easy to do.

Just additional question how can I add the company logo to SSRS report. I think the the way metioned above by angelsbadillos is appplicable for ax report ?
