Envestnet Yodlee Bankfeeds service

Two questions.

1. I'm trying to link my online bank account (BB&T) and notice that in the Bank Statement Import Format field, in addition to Envestnet Yodlee Bankfeeds Service, I see that BB&T is also listed as an option. Does that mean that I don't have to use Yodlee? I can just select the BB&T option?

2. In any case, I've tried both of these options and when I try to create a link with my bank, BB&T tells me I should recheck username and password. I know that I've got those right, however. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the way BC or the bankfeeds service would work around the normal requirement for a token code. Probably something small and obvious I'm missing but I would be grateful for any help I could get.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Please note that if you are trying to setup the BB&T link in the Cronus evaluation company, this will not work. You have to be performing the link in a non-evaluation company subscribed too. With that said...

Yodlee is the Bank Feed Service used in BC (there is also AMC Banking but that is a different service). After you activate the Yodlee Bank Feed service, on the Bank Account Card/Bank Statement Import Feed says YODLEEBANKFEED.

On the Action bar, click Bank Statement Service/Link to Online Bank Account. Yodlee will take over and you will see the BB&T name or you click the Search at the bottom (of my pic) to locate your Bank.

I then searched for my Bank US Bank and then logged in:

Please note that you have to make sure that the link you will use matches the one you normally enter in the URL to connect via a browser. You will see a list of connections if their are more than one so pick the correct one or your login might not work. After you login you will see all your accounts available to link to the Bank Account.

Do you receive any error messages?

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Thanks Steven.

So, of the several web address options for BB&T that pop up for me. None of them works. I'm talking now with techs from BB&T, they are trying figure out how to send me another web address that would allow us to get around the requirement for a hard token code. They don't know how to get that new address into BC.

    I hope this makes sense.

Update: BB&T now tells me that the best they can do with BC is manual statement downloads. "We just don't have any clients that use BC. It's cloud based and almost all our clients connect through onsite software or Quick Books."

So, is this a Yodlee thing? Yodlee needs to work with BB&T to figure this out? Or more likely the BB&T tech was just uninformed?

    Hello,

So BB&T list does not have the URL that you would type into browser to connect. OK, it happens as this is Yodlee. If you can download the statement to Excel you can use the Simplified Bank Statement import tool in v18 that just came out. I am attaching instructions so you can take a download and implement and test.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
