Ship To Address Per Line Item on Sales Orders

Hi:

Without a customization and without the use of Comments, is it possible to tie a specific ship to address to a line item on a sales order?

Let's say that you want one line item to go to one address but other line items to go to other addresses.  Is this possible?

    By use of dropshipment it is yes. Although you would have to alter the PO print out to your supplier or negatively adjust stock and then receipt off the PO to simulate the transaction if your already have stock.

    That is a few too many steps potentially so a modification might be better.
