    Hi Murtafiah Via,

Can you check whether your report server is up and running?

Are you aware of any changes that have been made to the report server?

If it runs and you still get the error message can you try to restart it?

Would be great if you could check and let us know if this resolves your issue.

    Ludwig

    Hi,

Probably have a look at the following site and try to go through it with one of your System admins

    social.msdn.microsoft.com/.../fix-to-the-attempt-to-connect-to-the-report-server-failed-check-your-connection-information

In addition, also take a look at this earlier thread that deals with a similar issue

    community.dynamics.com/.../106761

    Hope this helps,

    Ludwig

    Hi, Mr. Ludwig

    I can't understand with that..

But, if I click validate setting in report server show error :

"Unable to connect to http://ID-SRV-DBA-V003/Reports for the report server at ID-SRV-DBA-V003. Make sure that SQL Server Reporting Services is configured correctly matching the report server configuration in the Microsoft Dynamics AX client."

    why?

    any solution?

    Hi Murtafiah,

there are multiple places you have to check.1

login with admin id and check the report server configuration on SSRS report server.

check whether login id and password is successful(if anyone changed the admin password update it)

check in AX in Administrator module -> setup -> Reporting services-> check this setup should match with SSRS reporting server Web service URL and Report Manager URL.

yes, you need to check the Reporting servers URL's copy and paste it on explorer whether it is opening for your id and paste those url's at the specific places in the Reporting server Parameters.

also check for the system service accounts in the AX. Business connector proxy alias should be same as admin of your SSRS reporting server.

    Hi Morning,

You should put all the parameters same as in SSRS reporting server and here in AX report server both should match. Also check for admin id or ssrs reporting server and AX business connector should match. check the below link will be helpful.

    Hi Murtafiah,

It seems the connection between your AOS server and DB/Reporting server was interrupted/ wrong configurations or maybe the software version is not compatible together.

    Try to:

    - Check the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 System Requirements and compare to your system.

    - Restart all servers.

    - Check the network connection of the DB/Reporting servers. The Reporting services must be running.

    - Ping the DB/Reporting server from you AOS server and see the result (using CMD of Window).

If everything above is still ok, next,

    - Check the Report servers configuration in your AX (System administration>Setup>Business intelligence>Reporting services>Report servers). Then click the button "Validate settings".

The URL of your Reporting services configuration in AX must be the same to the URL in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager (NOTE: add the PORT number if you have it in the Reporting server & select the right AOS server name if you have multi-AOS server). Or easier, just copy and past the URL into your Reporting services configuration in AX.
