Report Destination PDF Format?

Is it true that we have to have a licensed version of Acrobat to get the option of PDF as a format in the report destination?   I've seen some people referencing PDF Creator and PDF Writer.  I've also been told that we need to buy the full version of Acrobat.  If this is true, Can I get some clarity on this?  We will be running GP2010.

Thanks

    Re: Report Destination PDF Format?

    Hi Squared,

This PDF output format is only available on the GP Print Dialogue window if you have the Acrobat PDF Writer print driver installed (available with acrobat 5 upwards) or acrobat distiller (available in acrobat 6 and upwards).

The other alternative is to install a PDF writer (Primo PDF or Cute PDF, I have used in the past). The PDF option won't be available on the GP Print Window...however you can set your default printer to be the PDF Printer Driver.

    Best regards,
