create inventory movement journal

Hi,

I want to create inventory movement journal with two lines, one for writing off the subitem when it's received and the other line for writing on the substitute item.

Which is the right place to write the code and how to implement it? please guide

Depends on where it is most practical and what situation require to do this.

You could add it on InventTable form as a generic function. Most likely this will be nice to have on sales order line, picking list or prod. pick.
