Upgrading from 2011 to 2015

Posted on by 1,299

Hi,

We are trying to upgrade CRM from 2011 to 2015 or may be 2016, but first we need to move it to 2013 as everybody is aware, i have three problems here:

1. I dont know how to do it like where to get CRM 2013 so that i can install it in a server then do the customization

I went through some articles about upgrading and found it hard to follow but everywhere it said about "Custom code validation tool" i had it installed but there is my second problem.

2. The Code Validation tool is not pulling all the scripts in the system, we have around 25 but only it shows only 10-12. And there is my third problem

3. I can see the error but dont know what is the alternate

Ex. there is a blue error that points ".form" or".save" so what is the alternate to solve them

please help.

Thank You for the link to download CRM 2013, once we are done with the changes can we still use the same valid key we have for 2011 on the same? also can you please let me know what would be the alternatives to be used for the unsupported customization? on the side note went though an article that talks about web API replacing CRM endpoints feels like nightmare dont know what to do and the impact of it. Thank you for your time
