We are using the BC Saas Environment, and there are several attached files in the BC. As a result, our BC storage is growing by more than 1.5GB every month.
Instead of attaching to BC, our provider recommended that we migrate the attachments to SharePoint. The user will follow the identical steps in the BC window, but the attachments will be stored in SharePoint.
For example, PO attachments go into the main PO folder, and each purchase order is created in a different subdirectory with a unique PO transaction number. in order to shrink the BC's size.
Please let me know if there are any difficulties or problems that will arise if we store attachments in SharePoint rather than BC.
