I am trying to access the retail API from a .net class.:

However I'm getting the error below. Can you please help me for it.

Error:

InvalidOperationException: The response payload is a not a valid response payload. Please make sure that the top level element is a valid Atom or JSON element
or belongs to 'http://docs.oasis-open.org/odata/ns/data' namespace." while accessing GetAccessibleOrgUnits() method of dynamics retail proxy.

Dynamics Application Version: 10.0.12

I have the same problem using Microsoft.Dynamics.Commerce.RetailProxy

It is not clear what exactly you meant, normally it is recommended to use Retail Proxy which will simplify your life by eliminating any issues dealing with ODATA because the Proxy shields you from all that, please see How to access Retail Server in managed code. for details
