This may be a really dumb question, but some of the Products in my Product Catalog are prefixed with # - so it shows Product IF #abcd3 . Is this purposely done to hide the product? If so, it's not working, because people are able to select it. (I took CRM over fro someone else).
TIA
can you share a screenshot?
thanks
Hi,
If you want to hide the Product to be shown in lookup so that user can not select, you could retire your product by setting the status and status reason field by clicking on retir button from command bar.

Sure, Guido.
From the screenshot looks like a normal Product ID, best guess is that there isn't a customization to hide the product (like making it draft state or inactive).
If that is your goal probably with a workflow you can create the logic (check when the product ID is updated and if starts with # then set inactive)
hope it helps
Guido, my goal is to figure out why some of our Products have the # prefix and some do not. I imagine it's to either tag them or prevent them from being duplicated. I thought it was a old school "CRM" Thing that I as a newb don't know. Thanks for responding!
