Hi,
would like to split down the valuation report into its constituent parts for the items held under FIFO costing method at any date in time so we can see quantity and price for each level of stock held.
Is this possible?

I believe you mean report 1001, inventory valuation report? You can filter by date (start / end date) to get increase / decrease and quantites on hand as well as value related to the filtered period. As an example, if you need to get one line per month per items, then you will need to customize this.
