Items missing after committing Purchase Order

Hi All,

At one of our branch manager has created a PO and added the required items. He also committed the PO. After that when he opens it all the items are missing in PO.

Can anyone experienced this issue? Please update what could be the issue.

    I can guess you committed the po when all quantities are zero. that could be the cause

    Dear Freeman,

    Thank you for the update.

    1. With regards to the purchase order this is the first branch where none of the committed items are visible. In one of the other branch we have noticed Inter-Store transfer-in from one branch was blank, but in the parent branch transfer-out it is showing the items.

    2. The same Manager has been doing the similar operations from a long time and never changed or updated the user rights.

    3. There is no third party software we are using for Purchase Orders, Transfers or Re-Ordering system. Yes for the customer loyalty we have recently installed Retail Hero Points software for Loyalty Members. But this is only dealing with global customers.

    4. Will surly use a different user and test it on the sample database as suggested.

    5. Environment Details are as mentioned below:

    a. At HQ:

    i. Operating System: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

    ii. Microsoft RMS 2.0.0110 SP1

    iii. Database: MS SQL Server 2005

    a. At Branch:

    i. Operating System: Windows XP SP3

    ii. Microsoft RMS 2.0.0110 SP1

    iii. Database: MS SQL Server 2005

    Can someone else at this same branch reproduce the same issue? Typically if software is broken Upendra, it is broken everywhere not at just one store. If it is a single store only has this issue? It is either with the user and permissions (ie: can someone else obtain the same results) or there is something running in this store environment like third party software of some sort preventing the process from working the same as any other store.  Try a different user first. Then connect to the RMS sample database and test to see if the same issue occurs if it does not? You will need to start comparing what software is installed within this environment with software that is not installed in an environment where it is not happening. Make sure please that all Windows and Microsoft updates are applied to include SQL.  Please provide some more details of the environment also. What version of SQL, What version and build of RMS and what version of Windows Please  thank you.
