When assigning a custom workflow to a journal, I get the following error message: The value 'XXXXX' in field 'Configuration' is not an active configuration or it does not exist in relating table 'Workflow configurations'

Anyone seen this error message before? Please advise

You must Activate any version of the selected workflow configuration

In AX-2009: Module Name > Setup > Workflow configurations

in your case: General Ledger > Setup > Workflow configurations

Select your desired workflow configuration record >> in General Tab >> Select a version record and then click [Set as active] button to active
