Filter Lookup Based on a field value in other Entity

Hi all

I have a requirement to Filter a lookup based on the field value in the other entity. 

Lets say there are two entities X and Y, when u select an value in entity X, the lookup field in the Entity Y should show only the records that are associated with that value.

    All you need is to retrieve value from parent entity and build correct filter.

    Hello Nava;

    It sounds like your looking to apply a custom filter on a lookup field. In order to do this you'd have to do it through javascript. I'd recommend reading this blog post by Inogic at inogic.com/.../apply-custom-filter-on-lookup-field-in-dynamic-crm-using-script .
