I am new to GP so I am learning all that I can these days. I have been given a project to test out a third party program that we want to automatically post batches in GP. I have the program loaded in our DEV environment but it only allows us to test the program using the Fabrikam, Inc. test company. The problem is that our Fabrikam database has not been upgraded throughout the years (so I am told). It was suggested to me to try an detach the TWO database and see if utilities will recreate it when I go through the "Re-add sample company data". Is this something that is recommended or does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get the Farbrikam, Inc working again?

Batchmaster is a great program to auto post batches in GP. I wonder how they managed to update the other company databases and not upgrade the TWO database? When you upgrade you should leave all the companies checked during the upgrade process.

GP Utilities errors was giving me errors when trying to "re-add". I gave it one more tried and it seemed to work just fine. So thank you for whatever magic you just through my way.

Trevor - Re-add sample company data using the Dynamics GP Utilities would be easier than trying to perform an upgrade to the existing Fabrikam database.
