    Mahmoud,

Lets say am in Company(country) A that has USD-A (USD against A) rate in Exchange table as 78.And then I have company B(country) that has USD-B rate as 45.If I update USD-A from 78 to 79,you find the USD-B rate has also picked 79 and it update 79 all the way back to the beginning of financial period(January 1 2014).so each monthly rates for USD-B reads 79.It started one month ago.

I have tried to reproduce the case trying different scenarios, it is just impossible for me to get the same results !

Any customization running in your environment regarding the exchange rates ? That's definitely not a usual system behavior

Are we talking about different Exchange table IDs (Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup> System > Exchange Table) ?

When you insert an exchange rate line on one exchange table id, another exchange table is affected ?

    Mahmoud,

My concern is if I put exchange rate value in exchange rate id e.g usd-xxx in the exchange rate table it alters the exchange rate value for for id usd-yyy.Lets say USD againist XXX is 40.if i update the exchange rate id usd-xxx with 40 its alters exchange rate id USD-yyy to from may be 60 to 40.

Technically speaking, the exchange rates is recorded on the Dynamics DB level, which is accordingly reflected on all Dynamics GP companies. Therefore, no matter which company you are on while changing the exchange rate, it will be reflected on all other companies.
