I performed the following scenarios & please share with me if you guys encounter such behavior.
1) Open Case record into 2 windows (i.e. 2 windows having the same case record)
2) 1st window, change the statuscode to "Closed"
3) 2nd window, change the statuscode to "Escalated"
4) Save the 1st window, check the audit history, statecode = "Closed", statuscode = "Closed".
5) Wait for couple of minutes, save record in 2nd window, check the audit history, statecode = "Open", statuscode = "Escalated".
I am confused now, by right when the record is saved in the 1st window, the statecode has already changed to "Closed" which is Inactive, how come the case record is already Inactive & I am able to save the record (statuscode="Escalated") in the 2nd window? By right, when case is Inactive, we are not able to change the statuscode.
Is this CRM behaviour that the Case can be re-open by the system?
