Is there a better forum to get help than this? This one seems poorly subscribed and answers to what look fairly straight forward queries aren't forthcoming.

Many thanks for your reply, interesting it took this post to actually get one though. The information (complete with screenshots) I posted is all I have, and looking at previous questions I believed it covered all the required information to provide an answer. I never created the "saveMultiSelect" function so I don't know what it relates to, I just customized the opportunity form, and then the error message started, even when put back to original format the error still persists. The reason for two post, is to a) change the question to try to be more specific and b) to bring it to the top of the list in the hope of getting a reply. Your analogy of the mechanic I feel is a bit nonsensical, I believe that if the mechanic did not have enough information from my initial question, they would ask as opposed to staying silent on the other end. I also asked if it was safe to delete, which in reality is a yes/no question.
Again many thanks for your help and I will endeavour to look elsewhere to try and get yet another failed Microsoft product to do what it's supposed to.
