    Hi Nguyen,

When simply creating Picking list for a Sales order, completing the Registration and posting the Packing slip, the Shipment details are recorded in WMSSHIPMENT table.

WHSShipmentTable holds information about Shipments created when using Warehouse management module (Advance warehouse In Dynamics 365).

Warehouse management module (Advance warehouse In Dynamics 365) has a wide range of features and it is fully integrated with other business processes such as transportation, manufacturing, quality control, purchase, transfer, sales, and returns.

There are two available features in Sales order form, in the Warehouse header tab: Load planning workbench and Release to warehouse.

Assuming that you are using Warehouse management module (Advance warehouse In Dynamics 365) and proper related configuration exists, each feature can be used to create a Shipment (automatically populating WHSShipmentTable).
With Load planning workbench you manually create Loads and the Shipments are created when releasing the Loads to the warehouse.
The Sales order Release to warehouse function will automatically create the related Loads, Shipments and Work orders, accordingly to your setup.

If additional information is needed, Warehouse management documentation is available here:
    docs.microsoft.com/.../warehouse-management-overview

For more details on various related aspects, please consult this blog too (although written for AX2012, it is applicable for D365 too):

This blog contains links to several other resources related to Warehouse management module, but I would recommend starting with:

    Regards,

Please read again my initial answer:

"When simply creating Picking list for a Sales order, completing the Registration and posting the Packing slip, the Shipment details are recorded in WMSSHIPMENT table."

So, in the above case, no record is created in WHSShipmentTable table.

There are two different tables: WMSSHIPMENT and WHSShipmentTable
