Blanket Sales Orders not creating demand

we are trying to get the blanket sales orders to work but so far did not have a lot of success.

Once of the issues is that when we enter a blanket sales order, it does not create the demand on the inventory unless we create an order from the blanket sales order.

What are we missing?

Hi Katarina,

There are a couple of things that you will need to confirm.

Locations - If you have more than one locations have you created stock keeping units?

Planning parameters - What is your reordering policy?

Is this example I have used Order (Lot-for-Lot) also works and I have a stock keeping unit for location EAST.

Entered a blanket sales order for quantity 10,000

Sales order was dated 01/08/23 so ran the planning worksheet as below.

Using the item and location filters.

If you have multiple locations then create the stock keeping units and try again.

Attach some screen shots of the item/SKU setup if required.
