"Correcting" a Configuration Package

Hi:

A field was incorrectly updated by the previous use of a Configuration Package.

When a newly-corrected source file is used for this Configuration Package to update and "fix" that field, should the checkbox for deleting that table's data be checked beforehand in the Configuratipn Package?

Or, does using that checkbox cause problems?

If you are just updating a field, don't select that as it will delete all the existing data from the table, and if you are not importing all the fields you will loose the data, that should be used only if that table has not been used or if you try to replace the whole data from that table. I don't recommend this if you are already live.

Hello,

In the Configuration Package, the checkbox for deleting will be used for Delete the Whole Master Data and in place of that Old Master Data, New Data will be inserted.

So for Updating 1 of the filed in the Master Data, the use of this boolean is Not Advisable.
