Account schedule called "INCOME".  was overwritten the last week with a generic one...  What do I have to do to avoid this form happening in the future? My guess is it was over written by the August update.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi dano1968,

Thank you for the question. Is your Account Schedule called "INCOME" one of those selected as defaults in the General Ledger Setup page under the Reporting fast tab? If so, there are processes which will update these Account Schedules (which are selected as the defaults in this page). The best way to maintain your own custom Account Schedule and ensure that it is not overwritten is to ensure that it is NOT selected as a default in the General Ledger Setup page. The "down side" is that you will have to navigate directly to the Account Schedule in order to print a report from your custom Account Schedule--instead of being able to access it under Financial Statement shortcuts. But the "up side" is that it will no longer be overwritten.

    Hi Tammy,

Is there still a downside to the custom reports or can we now change the Financial Statement shortcuts? I had to change the Retained Earnings report to account for Contributions from Shareholders as part of the S-Corp equity accounts. It would great if I could select the report from the Financial Statement shortcuts.

Answered this myself. It's under General Ledger Setup/Reporting /Acc. Sched. for Retained Earn.
