Recently I have noticed that our nightly process started taking somewhere close to 9 hours to complete compared to the normal hour to hour and a half. Its major hangup is on one in particular entity. The process it self is not too complex, in fact its set up in 2 stages. The first stage is to call a view located on a staging database on the CRM Sql Server. The second stage then takes this data and uses it to "Update" the entities In the CRM_MSCRM database. The only thing I really know how to test here is the view and it pulls about 40k Records in about 10 seconds. Now I'm fairly certain that where ever the logical hang up is, it must be during the "Update" Action.
The SSIS Package is running on a visual studio project using visual studios 2010.
Does anyone have any thoughts as far as where I should start?

I actually haven't considered it. The service was actually set up by a separate vendor which no longer supports our instance. I figured I would check to see if there was any experience here regarding this first.
Thanks anyways.
Hello,
Have you considered idea of getting in touch with vendor and opening a ticket?
