Financial Calendar

Hi all

I urgently need to change our financial calendar. It currently ends 26/3-23 and it needs to end 31/3-23

I have tried to change the date but without luck - is it possible?

Other option - set up a new calendar. I have set one up and chosen 13 periods but it only comes up with 

0 opening

1 operating

2 closing

How do i get a full calendar with 13 periods. Or do I need 12 periods and the 13th come automatically?

Where do i need to link this new calendar? Is it only in the ledger calendar?

    Hi Harrison

    • If you already gave transactions in that period you cannot change the ending date - MS documentation here on changing calendar notes this - learn.microsoft.com/.../change-mdfy-clndr-to-ledger
    • I am in Australia, and we setup calendars for 12 periods.  D365FO will automatically create an OPENING and CLOSING periods.  These are used by the solution for automatic postings for year end.  The Closing is what we would loosely call the 13th period here.  But users don't post to this period, the solution does.

    Hi 
    Delete periods in current fiscal year and future if they are created.
    Create the periods you need i current fiscal year. Create new fiscal period with future periods
