BC Virtual Entity Salesinvoiceline error in CDS

Hi everyone,

Not sure in which forum to post this question...

I have used the Business Central Virtual Entity feature which was recently deployed in release wave 2. Everything is going fine and I really like this feature, however I seem to get an error in the salesorderline part.

In CDS I get an error that 'You must specify an Id or a Document Id to get the lines, and a corresponding error message: '0x80040265'.

I noticed that there is a field in the Salesorderline entity which is called 'Id', however I am not able to insert this field in any view or form.

It seems that the problem is that I have not added this field to my data.

Does anyone know how to insert this field or another way to solve this error??

Or might this problem just occur because the feature is still in 'preview'?

Thanks very much!

    Hello,

Understand what you are saying related to in what forums this should posted to. It is a combination of PowerApp, CDS and Business Central.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../powerplat-overview

I would vote for this is the correct community (BC community) where this question should go to and not to PowerApps. However, it may require some sort of development. Maybe you can repost your question here:

    www.yammer.com/dynamicsnavdev

    dynamicsuser.net/.../developers

If you do not receive any further traction in that forum as well, then raise a support ticket to Microsoft. Since I see the image is in Dutch language, it will probably land in our team in EMEA. You can add the link to this forum posting in the support ticke so that it ends up with us BC support and not with CDS / PowerApps. Redirection of support tickets is now handled with machine learning so adding the forum link in the ticket may help to prevent you to go from PowerApps to CDS to BC support.

    Thanks.

Hello, I have the same problem. I cannot access to the data in tables which contain lines of orders, invoices or so. I get this message: "You must specify an Id or a Document Id to get the lines."
