Setup and Deploy Dynamics 365 Business Central on Cloud/On-Premise

Hi Everyone,

I'm a Developer, and I want to ask something about setup and deployment in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The question is:

  1. I had a little talk with someone who knows about BC. I'm asking about how to deploy the environment onto the cloud (e.g. Azure) or On-Premise.
    a. Is it using a container as the sandbox environment does?
    b. Is it using LCS to deploy the production environment?
    His answer is:
    a. No, the production environment is not using a container as a platform.
    b. No. Dynamics 365 BC is not related at all with LCS.

    Is this true?
  2. I have read the documentation for devs in here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/
    It contains articles that explain about production environment deployment On-Premise, but nothing for the cloud (e.g. Azure).
    How to deploy the production environment into the cloud (e.g. Azure)? Is the process is similar to On-Premise Deployment?

    1) Correct.

    2) If you are not doing SaaS, it is basically On-Premise Deployment in Azure.
