
I need to import products in D365. I tried with entity Released Product Creation V2.
I had issue with Automatic number sequense for product and items. There is a Question regarding this in the community. I have tried to follow advise with remove columns with product number and Item number, and remove mark 'Manual' in number sequense for products. It do not work, and in the discussion an other person seems to have same problem.
Item informations are much more than fields form Entity Released Product Crestion V2. I miss
- prices for purchase, cost, sell.
- Primary vendor
- intrastat information
- default site, warehouse, location for items
- barcodes
Can you give an advise how to maintain all these informations ?
Do I need to use different entities or can I do some updates from Excel.
Prices for Purchase / Sales would be in Purchase Price agreements or Sales Price Agreements entities if using trade agreements. Cost prices would be in the Pending Item Prices V2 entity. Primary Vendor is on released products V2 entity as are the IntraStat fields. Default Site, Warehouse, are on Product Default order settings V3, Default location is on Released Product Warehouse Defaults V2. Barcodes are on Item - Barcodes V3
It's easiest to go to the form where you input the info in the client and click the "Open in Excel" button to see the entity name for those objects.
