Bank statement import method

Hi,

Can any one tell how to create a new  import format below or where this Finnish basic is being setup as import format? Is this different from the bank statement format of the Bank reconciliation. I created a new bank statement format but that is available only under bank reconciliation import.

    Hi Shripriya,

    The screenprint you show above relates to the general ledger bank statement import functionality that was already available in the earlier AX versions and that is bound to country-specific funtionalities/config-keys. Making modifications to the file formats that are used for this import can't be made in the AX client but require the help of a developer

    The bank reconciliation functionality that you find in the 'Banking' module is different from this import and requires that payments are made in AP/AR Journals before a bank account can be reconciled.

    Hi Ludwig, would you please be so kind to give further information what will have to be done by a developer to activate this function. There is no information available in Tech Net or Web.

    Do you want to

    a) Import bank statements in a GL journal or

    b) Import bank statements in the bank module's bank reconciliation / statement form?

    Hello Lili,

    To my knowledge some development is required if you want to import bank statements in a different format such as e.g. MT940 into general ledger journals.
