How can we take the worker/person name in email template of workflow on rejection/approval notifications?

You can try the placeholder %name% for this. Can you otherwise indicate which workflow template you are setting up right now?

There is no place holder with %name% found in place holder list of workflow. I need in all workflows (customs and default) for example consider Purchase order workflow. when rejected or approved initiator will get the rejector and approval person name in notification.

I'm not sure there is an approver/rejector placeholder as standard? If there was it might well bring back the worker number rather than the users name. The placeholders in Ax are out of the box but can be added through customization. You can have a look on existing place holders from workflow step properties.
A potential suggestion as a work around would be to use %workflow.lastnote% which would allow the approver/rejector to type a comment "approved by Steve Smith, happy with this expenditure".

Thanks Bruce. I will go for suggested solution if i didn't find the better solution than this. The main purpose is automatic email with approval/rejector name.
