I have an OnDemand account which is effectively a sandbox environment. I want to restore this to vanilla sample data after each implementation, is this possible with the tools provided?

Hi,
There is no easy way to revert back to the original state in a crm org. However, if you just need a temporary sandbox, you can just request a 30 day trial and use it for 30 days for testing. When the 30 days are over it will be disposed.
By on-demand do you mean on-prem?
If so, is this sandbox on a virtual environment (I.E. Hyper-V or VMWare)?
If this is the case, create snapshots of your VMs and go back to those when needed.
If the deployment is located on physical servers you can make a copy of the ORG_MSCRM database and restore when needed via SQL management studio.
Hi Gus,
I'm referring to the Online/Cloud solution (or whatever it is called these days). I was hoping there was a mechanism to restore the database back to the vanilla on a regular basis, which as you've pointed out is an easy task on on-premise. Unfortunately looks like this is not the case.
