How to find Realize and Un-realize loss/gain amount

Hi Folks,

Can you please help me in getting the table or fields from where i can pull realize and un-realize loss/gain amount against any vendor transactions? Please need i need both type of transactions, currently i am able to get Exchange loss/gain but i need to fetch realized and un-realized both.

I am not sure I understand clearly your expectation. but if correct you would like to have vendor gain/loss amount.

then you can find then under table vendtrans

Please clarify your exact need and what you want to achieve (reason)

Actually i want to identify based on any other parameter other than GL code , thats where it is getting bit difficult

Hi Saurabh,

If you have separate ledger accounts setup for the realized / unrealized gain/loss accounts then you simply need to run a financial report or make use of the trial balance report to identify the amounts.

If you don't have separate accounts then things are tricky because you cannot identify realized / unrealized gains or losses from the posting type used with the voucher.

Hi,

Realized, unrealised is global for all modules

information can be found under GL / setup / ledger setup but also on currency

if you want specific account by Module for realized and unrealized, please vote on below ideas. Gather votes is a way for Microsoft to get market needs and prioritize them.
