Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I have an interesting issue that I have been unable to resolve.
As of about four months ago, new users that are setup within Great Plains and then linked to PDK are able to get to the Business Portal but receive the below message when navigating to the Timesheet section.
You are not authorized to view this page. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics GP administrator for assistance.
Upon reviewing the Application logs on the server, I see that something is going wrong when the application is looking up the user's access level.
The description for Event ID 0 from source MicrosoftBusinessFrameworkLog cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
MbfLog Write 29
SecurityService GetUserPreference IL:68
[Cause]The entity, Employee, accessed by the user failed security validation.
[Correction]The system should accept a query or update for the entity that the user has access to.

I've tried launching Dynamics Security Console but when I select SecurityService I get a Cannot connect to service, access denied. I am an admin on the box.
I'm at a loss now. Please help! :)
