I am trying to create a Dynamic marketing list that has all of the same contacts as that of another Static list, is there some way to copy all of the contacts on another list and add them to this list? I do not see any options for this, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi ,

You can copy only dynamics marketing list to static marketing list but in reverse you can not .

If you want to copy static marketing list to dynamics marketing list then you may be add additional filter in your dynamics marketing list based on the customer data like created or modified or if you have any specific identification to retrieve those static list together by modifying the filter criteria of dynamics list. Other than there is no way or OOB functionality to do that.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

As Goutam mentioned that is not possible.

We had a similar requirement in the past.

One way to do this is add a flag (or field) in the entity where the list is coming from, and create a workflow that will update that field on demand.

Run the workflow on all the static list records, and then create a new dynamic list with a condition where the field is equal to the value that you specified in the field.

Only issue is consideration of multiple dynamic lists needing to have some sort of flag like that.

    Hope this helps.
