Closing Accounting Period by mistake

Dear Experts:

I did close the accounting period of my current year, but the accountants still could post anything within the year.


is there any problem will happen in future or something else?


and how to re-open the accounting period of the year?

    As long as you did only close the accounting periods no harm is done.

    The date span you can post in in Business Central is determined by the posting allowed from and to date in the general ledger setup or the user setup.

    But if you have closed the income statement and continue to post in the closed year you have to close the income statement again.

    So as far as i can see you will not have any issues with this in the future. And you do not really have to worrying about opening the accounting periods again.
