How to modify which bins are used on inventory picks?

Is there a way to make it so that if a lot is in more than one bin, and the entire qty being picked is in one bin then the pick selects that bin that has enough qty?
Currently what we see is:
Lot 123: 10 lbs in Bin A and 20 lbs in Bin B

Inventory Pick is created for 20 lbs of Lot 123 and it generates 2 lines: 10 lbs from Bin A and 10 lbs from Bin B.

What we would like to see on the Inventory Pick is 20 lbs from Bin B.

How to modify which bins are used on inventory picks?

As far as I know this cannot be done in the standard. This requires customization.

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
