BC SaaS - Create a Sandbox (Copy of Prod with only one month transaction data) - When DB is large!

I have a larger Prod DB on approx. 450 GB
I would like to make a new Sandbox as a copy of Prod (and then get developed a tool to delete transaction data so only one month data is avalible after).

I do not have extra capacity todo the first step. My question is what will happen if I do above senario. Will it allow me todo - how long will it approx. take - will it impact my PROD (speed).

    There is currently no provision to create a copy of Production with only selected records. If you create a copy of production, you need the space equivalent to Production then you can deploy a tool to delete data from the tables you need. However, deleting almost ~400 GB worth of data from a sandbox can take days if not hours. You better raise a ticket with MS Support and see how they can help you navigate around this one. There is not a lot of stuff you can do alone with a admin center with limited (but useful) options
